A new boat

I decided that Kasper should be walked around the marina today which was fortuitous  as on the boat lift was Manuka, Port Nelson's spanking new Pilot boat having arrived in the morning. It was on the boat lift for an inspection to ensure nothing had attached itself to the hull. I was told the cabin is floating so removing the wave shock for all occupants.

The Ports new crane has arrived too the last one cost NZ$6 million and this one is electric in operation and diesel when being moved.

The weather deteriorated through the day so going up on the roof was put off.
