Among Friends

This Dove stayed to take advantage of the seeds dropping from the bird feeder. We are happy to welcome a pair of doves daily on our deck; they add to the variety of birds we see almost every day. 

Today was swim lesson day so I picked up Ellie after school. We were delighted with the new teacher today, he expected more of her and she did so much better. I got a lot of thumbs up from Ellie during the lesson.  :-))

Our daughter had a birthday present for Ellie so she was glad to be here when I brought Ellie back for the evening. Ellie was delighted with her present and we all had fun playing a new game she got for her birthday. Ellie took her bath here and got ready for bed before I took her home at bedtime! I usually keep Ellie on Thursdays so my son and his wife can go to the gym after work. I want to make the difficult task of raising their granddaughter as enjoyable as possible for them.
