Local, baby

I couldn't remember to take my camera anywhere today. This morning we went for a long family walk, enjoying the cloud cover. When Scout got tired enough, John let Madeline walk her, which would have made a great photo. Madeline kept running, and Scout jogged happily along on leash for awhile and then would look back at us like she couldn't believe something so wonderful was actually happening. But I didn't take that picture. John took M to the pool in the PM while I cooked a great dinner from my new favorite cookbook, Super Natural Every Day by Heidi Swanson. I was going to take a picture of my lentil soup, rye soda bread and tomato and cucumber salad...but I forgot to take that one, too.

Instead, here's this cool onesie we found for Little Sister.
