The Hoy Head

From the visit back to Lyness, Hoy in 2017.

Life is full of little links and coincidences.  The Hoy Head was built in Appledore, Devon quite close to were my parents settled in Devon.

One of my earliest memories is going on a warship, perhaps HMS Exmouth or HMS Pallister as their ship's crests were always in the house, at the jetty and as a wee boy being allowed to sit in the captains chair on the bridge.
