I spent some time this morning sorting out Christmas cards and printing off my lists. I might write them tomorrow, depending on what else there is to do.

Today’s picture is of the same part of the garden, although taken from a different angle, as my husband’s before picture today; my picture is after the gardeners had worked on it. They did more in this area, but it was too dark to take a picture. They also worked on various other parts of the garden including cutting all of the grass except the orchard and removing a lot of the leaves. They did some pruning of other shrubs and shredded them ready for composting. They also cleaned the other section of the French drain to complete the job they started last time.

The temperature at noon today was eleven degrees Celsius.
