Next best thing

I was hoping for some sunshine today but it stayed a gloomy gray.  More gardening, more digging up plants, more dividing them, more thinking about how it will look next year.  I was joined by a robin who saw an opportunity for a good feed in my disturbed earth.  I am enjoying being outside so much at the moment. I went for one of my infrequent haircuts this afternoon - it didn't take very long.
