SNAPDRAGON

Back in June I bought two small plants, this snapdragon and the lobelia behind it, and planted them in what I subsequently read was a soil type and position they wouldn't enjoy so was prepared to move them if they didn't thrive. Since then they've flowered continuously and spread enormously. To the right of where I'm standing to take the photo is a white rose we inherited which has also flowered continuously since May and beyond the lobelia is another rose, a lovely peachy colour, which I planted in the summer and didn't expect anything from until next year, but now has flowers beginning to open (extra) Unfortunately I've lost the label and can't remember what it's called, but I think it's a Dutch name. Osteospermums (2nd extra) and hebes are still going strong as well, giving some welcome colour during this anticyclonic gloom.
