Walk on a Gloomy Day
P had a routine health check this morning so we decided to go for a walk around the villages again. Having lunch in the café in Botesdale again wasn't part of the plan, honest, but P's appointment was delayed so much that it seemed to be a sensible option. So - just under a mile from the carpark to the café, then, fuelled by soup, cake & caffeine (the latter only for me!) we did another 4 to 5 miles to the north of the villages to loop back to the car. Didn't bother to take the "proper" camera as it was so grey, with low cloud & mist - saw a group of about 10 deer across the fields but the phone certainly wasn't up to recording anything decent at that distance - the Blip is an unidentified bracket fungus in the damp woodland we cross on our way back to the first village. Didn't get closer due to a barbed wire fence & nettles - I don't clamber over those, not even for a Blip!!
