Remembrance Poppies

Slept badly so out early to the high street to pick up yesterday’s undelivered parcel, didn’t want to waste another day waiting. While out visited the church to look at the poppy display, and picked up a couple of Christmas presents. 

Back home: Gave in and extended Dad’s respite care by another week. Spent an hour in the back garden, raking leaves, hacking back plants and harvesting, and then eating, Cherry Tomatoes numbers 19-25; a further 7 have gone bad, and another 18 have been brought in to see if they will ripen. Nodded off in the bath. Watched a Christmas film and ate a Mince Pie. Dismally grey again, and a chilly 8 degrees.
