Light in the darkness…………

……….in a gift from my lovely friend, Blipper Rainette, who brought it yesterday evening. It is called “Autumn” and the scents are Pear, Quince and Apricot. A hand poured Botanical candle.
Today I realised it had been her birthday……I was so upset.
Her amazing graciousness in coming to visit me!
The lovely Geoff brought her just after tea for a very short visit, as she was preparing to go away the following morning early on to look after her grandchildren in Southampton for the weekend, by train, as her daughter was having a special weekend treat away for her own birthday, her 40th!
It was a week today since my operation, and I am amazed how much I am now able to do. Stephen has just said “You have made steps forward every day this week”.
