Happy Place!

I got my wood stove on this morning and headed into the studio around 11!  Oh it always feels so wonderful to be in my cozy, warm studio...especially when i've not been in there for about a week!

Started laying down some layers of paint on these .... i love this part so much....i'm sticking with a limited palette of mostly blues and greens, with a bit of ochre for contrast.   see extras for where i left off those 2 today.   

This one has been sitting on the floor of the studio for weeks, looking very uninteresting and quite dull....so at the end of the day i just started applying some pigment sticks and smooching them around....fast and invigorating.... we'll see how i feel tomorrow :)
