A little breezy

I split & cleaned a bunch of Osteospermum pieces to make cuttings after breakfast this morning. Cooked apples in the microwave ready for cake making later.
Walked up to town to fetch the paper. Bumped into the manager of our local Brainwave charity shop as she walked to work, she was telling me that they are having to turn away donations, especially toys as they don't have time to check if the are complete. They don't have any storage, another problem.
Mum & I went to Trago Mills, a very successful trip. Xmas cards, a flip top bin for her kitchen, spring flowering bulbs, compost, top soil, packs of viola, plus a couple of shrubs. Bought pickling onions, & other veggies from the fruit & veg stall then home.
Had a coffee while making Mum's lunch.
Back home for lunch with hubby, then spent the afternoon in the kitchen. Prepped & brined the pickling onions, made a batch of spiced apple chutney using up the apples that don't keep. 7 jars. Made 2 apple cakes, sterizing the jars while the oven was on then finished off the jacket spuds to go with the prawn salad, tonight's dinner.
Sat down to watched ROHofG'S before eating dinner. Got a batch of blackberries straining overnight to make a batch of blackberry jelly tomorrow.
Just watched Stevie Wonder in concert on BBC4, now Randy Crawford. Marvin Gaye on later. Past my bedtime so will have to watch on catch up.
