Southside

An evening out with the bestest friend at a new to me venue to see Kris Drever this evening. It's a converted church at St Catherine's with parking on the common opposite. Great acoustics and a good venue if a little chilly. We both enjoyed his musicianship and I think I took more notice of some of his lyrics live.

Friday had its usual frenetic quality with quite a few staff out for various reasons, duties and lessons covered and my own things fitted in too. A meeting was cancelled this afternoon which eased things a little and I left in good time for our evening plan.
