BabyElla and Mum

This is baby Ella with her mum at the local pub. Ella is the daughter of Susan's nephew, making Susan a great aunt (and me a great uncle I suppose). They had all come to Kent as part of a long holiday trip from Scotland. Ella is Susan's mum's first great grandchild and this was the first time she'd seen her great granddaughter.

Mind you, it's a bit like London buses at the moment, none for a while and then two come along at once as Susan's niece is expecting in September so she'll be a great aunt for a second time and her mum will have another great grandchild.

We'd been on a longish walk around Mote Park and ended up at the pub for a refreshing drink or two. Ella is obviously enjoying the attention and has a lovely smile. She likes people making faces at her, which was what was happening here.
