View From the Bridge

Early this morning Maisie and I walked upstream to the Burleigh Bridge. This is the view looking upstream from the bridge looking towards the distant Wither Hills. It is lovely country particularly at this time of the year when there is water running in the braided river and the banks and environs are still lush and green. Once the sun is up and shining brightly, millions of California Poppies will unfurl their petals after their night’s sleep and enliven the landscape with gold.
