Homeward

Almost midnight, heading home, streets remarkably quiet, the Circus Lane Instagrammers must all be tucked up in bed. Arrived at The Tiq earlier to find there wasn’t enough room to swing an elbow, never mind a cat, so Plan B was needed. D was still heading down on a bus but suggested Clark’s Bar had reopened so me and JacktheLad wandered along there. It hasn’t, it’s still getting a refurb. Never mind, not too far to The Cumberland so that’s where we headed and it wasn’t busy at all. Which is why, a good few hours later, I was wandering along Circus Lane.
