Bruce Springsteen

The Boss gave a fantastically energetic, crowd-pleasing, three-hour performance at the new Leeds Arena tonight. He worked his audience like the seasoned old pro he is, walking a gangway between two sections of the standers and at one point fell backwards into their eager arms to be safely crowd-surfed back to the stage. My old mate Dave Johnson, who introduced me to Bruce, was with me in spirit.
