Looming in the darkness

We see Lincoln Cathedral often, mostly on the horizon, but as we drive into the City to pick up Holly after work, sometimes we drive right by it, tonight was one of those nights.

I haven’t seen it in the dark for a good while & was reminded what a stunning building it is, especially illuminated like this

I still have not been inside, I really must put that right soon :-)
