Nebelgrau

For the last couple of days, the weathermen, -women, and -websites forecast sunshine for today. 

It should not have come as a surprise that they were wrong again. The low clouds and drizzle never left us, and I had to postpone my gardening plans for today.

This blip‘s title, meaning „foggy grey“, applies to the day as well as to the fungus in the photo. Its German name is „Nebelgrauer Trichterling“ (foggy-grey funnel), not far apart from its English name „cloud funnel“.
