River of Flowers

Saturday: A New Buddleia

… this is what I bought yesterday - small buddleia which I’ll pot on whilst the weather is mild, it was £5 and I’m looking forward to seeing flowers for the bees and other pollinators :-)

Spent many hours this morning doing “paper work” for MrD and I to take with us on Monday.

Had a few minutes in the garden, clearing up where the Bay tree was pruned and pulling out seedlings of ivy, yellow jasmine, dead nettle and anything else which has become a nuisance :-((

About a dozen blackbirds around the cotoneaster tree eating the berries. MrD cut the grass at midday, the blackbirds liked foraging in this area too :-)

Late afternoon there was a group of Curlews heading towards the beach, there was a solitary call - makes my day seeing one of my favourite birds!

Loads of love and hugs to all my family / Cariad Mawr
