From slumber I woke through layers of sleep, wrestled with sheets, to notice it was 06.50hrs. I could hear the Current Mrs Creel playing her accordion. I understand there are moments like this in every marriage. After last night’s whisky session I started the day by clearing out the Bothy. I have been on light duties today. I called Sandy in Kintore for an update then Kevin in Inverurie. I organised the uplift and deliver of a stove and ordered a lum liner and flue pipe. For the first time in 20 years we are missing the parish Harvest Home. And all the other HHs we usually go to. However in a benign move Phil and Caille have asked us round for a meal. Finished my Anne Applebaum and it looks like I’ll be moving on to Christopher Clark
Insipidness is creeping in.
