He's Back!
I was hoping something like this could be my blip today.
Pompey, finally, got a home win. 2-0 up at half time after a good first half performance, then pegged back to 2-1 after another poor defensive mistake, then 30 nail biting minutes waiting/expecting for the opponents to equalise. But then a penalty to Pompey and who should step up to take it but last season's top scorer Colby Bishop, making his first appearance today as a substitute after heart surgery at the start of the season. He scored of course, he usually does. It was a must win game really, still in the bottom three but still in touch with the (bottom of) the mid table sides. It must have been quite emotional at Fratton Park to see Bishop return and score.
Nothing else to report, even the Ocado delivery pales into insignificance!
