Sir Walter Scott
My picture is of the Sir Walter Scott coming into its berth at the Trossachs Pier on Loch Katrine with its happy passengers who had just sailed up to Stronachlachar and back.
A pathway has recently been established from the pierhead to a new viewpoint high above Loch Katrine. My extra is a photograph taken from there. We really enjoyed the climb up to the viewpoint, along with quite a few other people and a very excitable dog who must have run about twenty miles in all.
It was a dull day and the autumn colours have pretty much faded, but we did enjoy a lovely view of the loch.
Continued over the Dukes Pass to Aberfoyle, and had a coffee in Dobbies before returning home.
