Crimson Glory Vine

Growing on a fairly new pergola at the RHS. It was good to get out, though I was also glad to get home to a hot cup of tea! I’m reading How to Winter by Kari Leibowitz, and it’s reminding me to consciously think about the good aspects of winter ( bracing walks, beautiful late autumn colour, cozy evenings etc) rather than focusing on the less pleasant aspects like the seemingly endless greyness of late!

I was also surprised to see this rose still blooming profusely.
