What a mess

We left the cottage at ten and home for two, not a bad journey and only minor delays in roadworks.
No food in house so unpacked and then walked down to bread shop and grocers for fresh fruit and veg.
I always buy a tub of pomegranate from Sainsburys but today got a whole one and what a mess I made using it on the dinner, but it did taste great on the baked aubergine with the yogurt and pistachio.
We combined the shopping with a walk and Hetty was so slow catching up on pmails, as another blipper called it.
As there are a few fireworks going off the radio is on very loud and Hetty is on my lap, but not as bad as expected and think they will be done soon.
