Crème brûlée cheese cake

At Canopy restaurant at the Edinburgh University Futures Institute in the old Royal Infirmary buildings, with JP. This wasn't as beautiful as the cranachan which I had last time we had lunch there and I think the cranachan was more delicious too.

After a leisurely lunch we had planned to do a self-guided tour of the buildings, but found that they were shut for the weekend. Oh dear, I hadn't done my homework properly. So that was a rather flat end to things. We will have to meet again during the week sometime, but it may not be for a while.

Still, when I came home I managed to finish the sewing and also the pressing of my quilt top in preparation for another session tomorrow at myBearpaw.
