Choosing my clothes
Despite a rather unsettled night’s sleep I felt a bit more like myself this morning. Hopefully I’ve turned the corner!
A lovely cuddle with Phin on the sofa after our walk before we dropped him off at daycare for his next holiday.
I was on duty at the supermarket this morning for our stall in aid of Poppy Scotland just after 10. It was lovely to see so many people happy to donate especially the people with young children. I had time for a quick look round the charity shops when I finished my shift and picked up some homemade steak pies from the butchers for dinner.
I spent the afternoon finishing up the ironing and working out what I want to pack for our trip. There was a fair amount of trying on and discarding of options before I think I’ve settled on my final selection.
As I was quite chilled I had a lovely bath which warmed me up nicely. Enjoyed the steak pies with some mashed potato, cabbage and baked beans.
I’m now chilling whilst waiting for the Festival of Remembrance to start. It was a family tradition of ours as children to watch and remember and one that I’m happy to continue.
