Oh My!
This morning I set out for another solo walk (The Husband's knee is still bothering him) and for the first time in months I decided to take my *real* camera. As it turned out, that was a great decision because pretty much as soon as I had I gotten into the hayfield I saw two big birds that seemed to be chasing each other - in what looked like play. They basically just looked like big black birds, but I figured they weren't behaving like vultures (which are the big back birds we see commonly) so maybe they were... ravens? But when I zoomed in and got a few shots I realized they were BALD EAGLES! They looked like not yet quite full adults - what they call "dirty birds" because there are still bits of brown in their tail and head feathers. So likely four year olds.
The only other photo I took was of an American robin. See extra.
