We were at Elland Road this afternoon to watch Leeds v QPR which Leeds won 2-0. As it is Remembrance Sunday tomorrow, before the game started representatives of the armed forces were on the pitch and wreaths were placed by the captains of both teams. After that an impeccably observed minute’s silence whilst the Last Post was played (note perfect) it’s always incredible when a crowd of over 36.000 falls silent.
