Still Life with kangaroo skin

Today I created this still life with kangaroo fur a gift from a former student , Harvinder, a Sikh of Punjabi origin, brought up in Malaysia  ( see extra).
He spent Christmas with us when he was an engineering student at the  John Moore university in Liverpool.
One of the highlights of his stay was that he got to visit the Wallace monument. It so happened they had the Wallace sword out for cleaning and he was photographed holding it.
Years later after his marriage and move to Australia he returned to visit us with his wife in 2019.
And that’s when they gave us this kangaroo fur.
