Round and round
Quite a full day, not totally planned.
Stated with my Street Watch walk, with two neighbours , though today t was followed by a visit to the Deli for coffee , pastries and a catch up on our lives. All three of us have “ “stuff” going on at the moment and it’s good to share and support.
Later I met up with a friend in Edgbaston Village for a craft fair which had some amazing goods.
Being a Saturday the city was far too busy for me and a slight mishap on the tram out to Edgbaston resulted in the doors ‘accidently’closing on me, too early causing me to loose my balance.I won’t dwell on that!
This evening I’ve watched a very moving Festival of Remembrance on BBC1.. always moving.
Part of it focused on the Battle of Monte Casinno where my uncle was killed and my dad “fought” as part of the Polish Army.
.naturally my thoughts went to the journey both my parents had, finally coming as refugees to England.
With the world feeling so fragile at the moment , so many people struggling, this late evening has left me feeling not only very tired but let’s say quite emotional.
