After the Fall

The weather has settled on cold, grey, and foggy for the week, with light very different from what I had expected for my time off… so I had to rethink my photographic plans. The days have been rather dark, even at noon, and the mists hang heavy over the landscape well into the evening. Open countryside and seaside both suffer in these conditions, but woodland settings come into their own, with the sky acting as a gigantic softbox. I took this mid-morning after the school run, just on the outskirts of Waldershare Park.
