Seven O’clock on a Saturday Morning
That light was just so pretty.
A busy day: I made a big batch of granola. Again. We really go through that stuff. Then I went out to the garden and sorted through all our garlic stash to find good cloves for planting. I put in four rows so far, two of Thai Purple, one called Red Toch, and another called Blossom. This is all garlic that we grew last year. We’re still eating it, but I always take some for seed. Hopefully we can keep these strains going. There’s room for one more row, which will be Early Italian, a variety that we’ve grown for many years. I’m just too tired to finish the job now.
Our next door neighbor is replacing the fence between our properties and has been digging post holes all day. The original plan was to replace some of the posts, but the more he looked, the rottener things got, and he ended up tearing down the whole thing. It’s nice to see their trees and flowers instead of boards, but everyone will probably be happier in the long run with a new fence.
