Disappointed

Bear is our daughter's dog. He rode along when I took her to the airport and gave a mournful bark when she left without him.  He has been moping since we arrived back home. Yes, the dog likes to lie on top of his house unless the sun is only shining on the bottom.

Bear perked up when Ellie came over. Her birth father met her over here and they played and talked for a couple of hours. He is calm and quiet, but he interacts nicely with Ellie; they colored in her new coloring books and assembled a My Little Pony arena and village from a kit that her dad gave her for her birthday. They needed me to help with some of the assembly; it was good for us to work and talk together. Thankfully, Ellie's mom didn't show up; it was perfect that Ellie and her dad could experience peaceful quality time together.
