A Peekskill house

It's so good to see a house that's typical of some parts of Peekskill. May they remain. The shingles are a common feature both here and in Boston.

Another day of clear blue skies and glorious sunshine but the cold weather kicked in, making it perfect for a walk in the forest. Extras one and four show the wonderful colours encountered on the trail of a labarynthine network of little variation. But we didn't get lost. 

Extra three is the view from the verandah of the two-star, across the Hudson River.

Extra two is in my view a particularly attractive BVM, probably reflective of the large Hispanic population of this town.
