Yellow!

The California poppies are starting to flower and any Wānaka walker would know where one of the best displays is to be found!   Having walked along the lakefront for a while this morning later I drove out to Shortcut Road and walked downstream above the Clutha.  There was plenty of colour there and still plenty more poppies to come out.  An extra of a clump of lovely deep coloured ones.
Tomorrow we are off to Queenstown to get the car serviced.
