Coffee outside

We've had quite a few days of mist and murk! Today started much the same and the sun did struggle but made an appearance for a couple of hours in the afternoon.
Val, Ruth and I had been to Stanhope to the community café and enjoyed a super lunch of mushroom and onion stuffed pita breads with a Greek salad. We go early have a cuppa first and an early lunch so we can leave and make room for the people who come during their lunch breaks from work. It is always full and not surprising as the people are friendly and the food amazing. There is always a couple of soups with great bread, and a meal to choose from, amazing cakes which I do try to resist and all homemade.
When I got home it was early afternoon, cold but outside was calling, having spent quite a few hours over the last few days crafting indoors. It was quite atmospheric in the garden still hazy with the sun low in the sky. As you can see Reg was on watch, listening to see if it was worth a jaunt down the garden, he didn't bother! I've added an extra as he did have a sniff around the top garden and I think he looks a bit like Gnasher of Beano fame when he stands like this!
