Very happy with her Daddy. She’s the most contented baby.

Eve had a school friend over this morning and I was pretty surprised when her Dad came to the door to thank Eve for popping her dislocated thumb back in place at school. She did a nonchalant “I just had a look at it and it fixed itself really”. Apparently this poor girl got it trapped in a door handle and loads of tendons were damaged - the surgeon told her Dad whoever looked at it first and put it back, saved it. When I asked Eve why she didn’t tell us, she said she forgot and she hadn’t really realised the drama. Very Eve.

Later we saw Ant’s family and all cooed over Caitlin’s skills. Then home for pie and mash before collapsing under the pastry weight.
