Swimming

at 9am. A bit later than usual. As I needed a lie in to recover from the heady excesses of Tinseltown yesterday.

After a night of heavy rain, the seaside was bathed in a balmy, soft bluey atmosphere. The extra is a pano of the whole beach from harbour on the left to Bray Head on the right. What a privilege to be able to experience this for free.

I’m going to the pictures this afternoon.

Sundays should be all about relaxing, coffee, self indulgence and a big fat slice of coffee walnut gateau.
