Surviving poppy

For lunch today I went to the greenhouse to pick a cucumber. We have a couple smallish ones left and there is one left for next week and after that I'll have to buy one or eat something else. Next to the greenhouse there is a patch of wildflowers and there are some poppies in bloom, so I took a picture on my way past. Fairly appropriate flower for the time of year.
