Towards Sedbergh

In an odd inversion, the Minx went into the Kendal office, yesterday, while I worked from home, and today we did it the other way 'round.

At lunchtime, though, I drove over to Sedbergh for a bit of lunch with IntoTheHills. There are a number of nice cafés in Sedbergh, but all were closed today and so we ended up in The Black Bull.

Given that there was nothing that I would have liked more than to settle down behind a few beers and spend the afternoon chatting, it was a little galling to opt for a lime and soda, but we had an enjoyable lunch nonetheless.

And in the evening, the Minx and I drove back down to Salford, but taking a diversion into Chorley to visit The Nile for a kebab. Happily, these were just as good as we remembered :-)
