ST JOHN the EVANGELIST

I make no apologises for my blip today. The service was wonderful & something I hadn't known in church before. Instead of having a visiting service man / woman bugler, the cenotaph was put up on a screen just before 11am, which meant the 2 minutes silence was held in church at the same time as at the cenotaph, therfore bugler ending the silence was observed in church at the Same time. Unique & lovely. There aŕe so many talented people in the church . The poppies being crocheted & the beautifully decorated church was done by some of the congregation.
I took a cab to church was met by my lovely daughter ( together we shared the service) I always have a great welcome there even though it's not my own church. My lovely bought me home. I'm so grateful for all the kindness shown to me.
A came about 1.45 pm & we enjoyed the curry & rice .( say it as I shouldn't it was lovely)

It's dark & dismal here though we were promised some sun ?? The light was necessary by 2pm ,
