Remembering...

There was a military parade in the village today for Remembrance Sunday. 

However, I rather liked this poignant bunch of roses left on the beach for my blip.  In the distance is Hayling Island where my Mum and Dad met during WWII in 1942. My Dad (London born) was part of the Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm and my Mum (from Newbridge in Wales) was in the Women's Royal Naval Serivce (WRNS). But Hayling Island was where the romance happened!
