Be A Hero.
A day when the weather hasn't enabled the light to truly appear...dare we believe the forecast sunshine will appear this week!
I've spent my day enjoying a early morning walk with Tina who I've kept in touch with since she retired several years ago. We went round the circuit we walk twice to fit in our nattering. :-)
From there I headed to Matthew's where we enjoyed another stroll along the canal to Apperley Bridge before winding our way back to Baildon via the woods and Esholt.
Time for some jigsaw piece fitting and a brew once back too.
My blip today is taken from my calendar which I felt was appropriate on Remembrance Sunday as we honour real life heroes. A reminder you don't have to win the battle to be a hero. A hero is an ordinary person who finds strength to persevere and endure in spite of, often, overwhelming obstacles. Ordinary people who make themselves extraordinary.
