Lest we forget!

Remembrance Sunday - and a rather dreich November morning to add to the occasion. Charles and I went to the war memorial not far from where we stay. With Charles having been appointed Depute Lord Lieutenant, he was on wreath laying duty. This is is always a lovely ceremony and it was again great to see a mix of all ages present, including a WWII veteran.
Otherwise the day was very relaxed. We had the fire on, read the paper, listened to music etc. 
Early afternoon the sun suddenly came out and it turned out to be a rather magical couple of hours before sunset.
