The canal Light Festival. 
We watched the whole procession of the barges lit in splendour but I didn't expect to be thrown into such emotion as the first barge made it's way slowly towards us with the most spectacular solo electric guitar playing, it was absolutely wonderful and that's why I chose this picture out of, oh so many that I took. Nothing could compare after that. It was all so well attended and supported, they know how to organise it so well, and hundreds walked the tow path with their lights and good will.
