Wenlock Edge

I decided to give my knee a rest today so took myself off to Ironbridge to look around there instead. On the way I passed Wenlock Edge so I thought I’d have a short walk along there as it is fairly flat along the top. The trees looked beautiful in their autumn colours but my knee/leg wasn’t very happy even with the short up and down parts of the path. So I’m very glad I didn’t do a longer walk.

Drove on to the Museum of Iron at Ironbridge which was very interesting. Ate my packed lunch sitting under the open car boot as it had started drizzling a bit, and then drive back via a cup of tea in Much Wenlock. A nice day out but not really what I came here for!

Decided in the evening that I wouldn’t go on tomorrow’s walk either so then made the decision to go home tomorrow instead of staying another night, which meant I could buy a new fridge freezer for delivery on Friday once I was home. Shame to cut the holiday short but that’s just the way it worked out this time.
