Developed
The trouble with old cameras is that at least one, or in this case two, of them will have film in them. And you need to find out what's on it so today's job (after some significant tidying of the mess that is the garage / workshop) was to develop them and see what we had. Luckily, there is some vintage developer on hand that just needs a bit of a warm bath to get it frisky enough to do the developing.
One (some PanF) was completely blank so that's one of the Trips with a non-functioning shutter. The other (Jessops? When did I get that?), out of one of the Pen cameras had about one third of the film used which, being a half-frame, means about 30 photos of which maybe 20 look worth scanning. Maybe one will be good. But I won't know until they are properly dry and I've reassembled the camera setup that does the scanning.
Then it was on to some painting of the much neglected stairwell. A good portion of it was still bare plaster from when the builders finished their building and that was quite some time ago. I mean, this was taken when I painted the top of the stairwell. 2010! Almost 14 years to the day! Shameful.
