Reflections

A day for reflections, remembering those who paid for our freedom, though we still don't seem to learn.
At church we also reflected on one of the occasions after the resurrection, and shared in Communion, remembering Jesus' death for us.
I then took the person I give a lift to for some shopping before returning home for a late lunch.
By this time the grey was dissipating so I took my camera out for a walk by the ponds - well, I walked, the camera was carried - only to find it told me the battery was exhausted when I tried to take a pic of the reflections in the pond. (Writing that made me think of an exhausted camera being unable to walk and hence the carrying!)
I went on a bit and then remembered I had a spare battery in the case so I was able to get some shots while the light was good. There's a 2nd in extras which is similar to what the failed one would have been.
A lamb stew (lamb from Mull) with homegrown potatoes , carrots and rosemary for tea.
