CHRISTMAS CACTUS.

Another gloomy day.  No need for me to leave the house ... so I didn't. In fact I didn't even bother getting dressed.

Had a good nights sleep but still felt tired today.  Im guessing its a side effect from the two osteoporosis injections I gave myself yesterday.  I always feel a bit rough for a few days afterwards.  Yesterdays injections were the last two.  Ive been doing them once a month for a year and after a year they aren't effective any more so that's it.  I have a phone appointment with the consultant at the hospital booked in for next Wednesday so I will find out then what happens next.  Maybe I will have another bone scan to see if the injections (and tablets Ive been taking ) have made any improvement to my bone density.

Newcastle had a match this afternoon - 2pm kick off away at Nottingham Forrest.  I listened on the radio. Forrest are a team thats been playing well recently so I wasn't hopeful of an away win for my team.  The half time score was 1 - 0 to Forrest so it wasn't looking good.  However Newcastle came out for the second half with more motivation and  the whole team played very well.  3 goals were scored by Newcastle  So the final score was Notts Forrest 1 Newcastle 3.  No games next weekend as there's an international break.  The Newcastle squad are travelling to Saudi Arabia  for some warm weather training.

I needed an indoor blip so I took a shot of one of the flowers on my Christmas Cactus.  There are 3 open at the moment and lots of buds.
